Biography & Professional Profile

Jezz Jackson learned piano from the age of 7 and then keenly pursued his musical skills at school where he also took up the clarinet. Joining his first covers band at age 13 he went on to play saxophone and piano to appreciative audiences. Finding pop and jazz inspiring Jezz went on to study at the Leeds College of Music. After graduating, straight out of college Jezz toured the UK with professional acts including a European Tour with a famous Top Ten band (no name dropping here!) and today, as mainly a saxophonist, bass guitarist and keyboard player, Jezz actively collaborates with live bands, recording artists and talented performers across the UK and internationally.

I enjoy travel and play lots of events, small and large, ranging from 100 people in private functions, weddings, birthdays to 100,000’s at high profile gigs including top festivals like Glastonbury Festival, Shambala Festival and many more.

As a guideline, I look for Pro Minded Bands and Artists, Studio Recording, Musical Projects, Gigs, Residencies, plus Horn Sections too. I genuinely consider all enquiries or requests, especially for Sax, Keyboards, and Bass Guitar, including Jam Sessions!
